Easy pace recovery morning.  The goal this week was a start on quality base miles for Oct and to get as dead as possible before our trail run Saturday.  I'd like to do the run on as tired legs as possible since I know the pace will be pretty slow with who is going.

Detroit is grey and cold as usual.  Why do people live here?

Just have to add here that I wrote Garmin about their watch falling off my wrist and getting lost in the Des News Marathon and they agreed to send me a new one.  This company is amazing.  Almost makes up for having to return the 610 three times for problems

Wow! Nice block of training Steve. How do you feel after that many miles? My legs get tight just reading it.

Good week Steve. I think that Garmin issue is a design defect. I know two people personally who have had the pin on the band fail. Garmin replaced the watches for both of them too.

Wow! I have contacted them twice and never received a response.

Thanks, it was a nice week of running. I won't get that kind of time again for a while. Rob, Garmin techs always respond within 24 hours. I haven't written the "company" ever, just tech service.
