Taking a break from daily entries on FRB which has always been my best source of running inspiration. I'm not logging enough miles anyhow to justify trying to keep up. I'm going to use this to continue following the awesome races everyone is doing and the kinds of training. Spent the last 9 days with my kids and three neighbor families in Lake Powell and surrounding areas  I did three rim to river runs of the Marble Canyon, Grand Canyon area.  Natalie did her longest trail run ever, running four hours with Bently in South Coyote Buttes and Vermillion Cliffs.  Shelby still thinks running trails is stupid.  But she did kayak Navajo, Antelope, and Wiregrass Canyons with me

Steve, you are probably fitter than you think with all the trail running. I'm not in the greatest. You should keep it going.. Can we expect you to come out for some local road events?

You're still 14 miles ahead of me for the year. Maybe I should bag it as well.

Thanks guys. Love this stuff. You know this blog got me through a hard post divorce phase five years ago. It gave me a lot of long term friends. It gave me some examples of guys that make it all work.
