Intervals today. I wasn't looking forward to this but a great day in Milwaukee.

5 mile warmup at 7 minute pace.

10X800s at 2:27 to 2:35 pace.

5 mile cool down.

Felt all right except no water on the course at all.

OK- I signed up. just for the experience. unfortunately I have to hit the road for utah right after the mens race as I have to get the kids back for school monday. a 3 mile run then an 800 mile drive.

will be lucky to break 19 minutes. oh well.

That's a cool book! I already read the other three he recommends reading. "how they train" was pretty cool. i could never run the distances the old school guys did.
