16 miles on the Mt. Vernon Trail in Washington.  Pyramid fartlek 1-5 minutes, 50% effort on rest segments and 75% on fast ones.  Super humid and 84 degrees!

When you're running those pyramid fartleks you need to be careful when you get to the top - kind of pointy!

I know, I like that name though. Sounds like I know what I'm doing. Man that is a pretty trail.

I ran on the Mt. Vernon Trail a couple weeks ago. Great trail, great scenery, I wish I had more time there.

This was my run last time I was in DC. One of my favorite places to run.

Hey Steve, Ever been to Istanbul Turkey? I'm going there next week and am a little bit worried about the running conditions but it looks like it could be fun.

Cool, a WA runner. I have always had a problem finding good running trials in DC, so it's been nice to stumble on this trail.

Rob, never been there. What you doing there?

It's for work, I'll be there almost 2 weeks. I found a guy that posted all of his runs there from about 1 year ago, looks like he had some pretty good ones. If I'm up to it, looks like I can follow the Bosphorus River all the way to the Black Sea. 20 miles round trip.
